Aaron Jophlin founded The Jophlin Law Firm in 2017, located in historic Georgetown, South Carolina. After a decade of courtroom experience, Aaron focuses on complex litigation: medical malpractice, wrongful death, criminal defense, nursing home neglect, and catastrophic injury.
Aaron earned his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2003, and a Bachelor of Music Performance from the University of South Carolina School of Music in 1997.
Upon his admission to the South Carolina bar, Aaron accepted a position with the South Carolina Supreme Court Staff Attorney’s office. In 2005, Aaron became an Assistant Solicitor for the Fifth Circuit, gaining invaluable courtroom experience and helping victims of violent crime in Richland County. Aaron joined the Bell Legal Group in 2010 where he continued to assist victims of negligence. Aaron has successfully represented individuals in the state and federal courts of South Carolina, the South Carolina Supreme Court, and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
A native of Sumter, South Carolina, Aaron now lives in Pawley’s Island, and is active in the Georgetown County and Grand Strand community. He is accepted to practice in all state and federal court of South Carolina, and practices statewide in South Carolina, including Georgetown, Horry, Charleston, Berkley, Dorchester, Florence, Darlington, Marion, Williamsburg, Orangeburg, Richland, Kershaw, Lee, Greenville, and Aiken counties, among others.

Community
Since moving to Georgetown County, South Carolina in 2010, Aaron has become actively involved in the Georgetown County and Greater Waccamaw communities. He has been a participant of the American Leadership Forum – Waccamaw chapter, an organization that brings local leaders together to work together for a stronger community. Additionally, as chair of a local non-profit medical organization, Aaron has helped steer the group from a small organization serving a localized group, to a regional multi-million dollar budget medical provider to those in need.
